Since 2017, a group of 166 contributors have maintained a github repository containing images of anime girls holding programming books.
Why, though?
The images are used for /g/, 4chan’s board for discussions concerning technology. The images are mainly used for the /dpt/ (daily programming thread), as 4chan does not allow for threads to be started without an image. So, inline with the theme, people use images of anime girls holding programming books.
This repository is sorted according to language/technology in order to help users easily find the best image to suit their use case.
