Fan-Favorite Games Become Manga Thanks to a Collaboration Between Ubisoft and Jump+

The winners of the Ubisoft x Shueisha collaboration manga contest were announced this April, it covered games from Far Cry to Assassin's Creed.


Grand Prize - Happy Vaas Day by Hiromu Nagase

Hiromu Nagase, the first-place winner, created ‘Happy Vaas Day’, a narrative about Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3 and how he came to be the drug-fueled pirate the player encounters in the game.


Second Prize - Inside by Saimotoki

Saimotoki, the second prize winner created ‘Inside’. The story follows a gamer as he plays Far Cry 4 and comes to doubt whether the protagonist and player are truly heroes or simply another villain in the plot.


Honourable Mention - Wrench Make Some Noise! by TSCR

MAKE SOME NOISE, WRENCH! is set in the universe of Watch Dogs 2, and follows Wrench as he works up the nerve to ask an attractive waitress, Naomi for her phone number.


Honourable Mention - Assassins Creed Cinders by Seishun no Haiboku

Following Ezio's death, Leonardo da Vinci pays a visit to Ezio's widow Sofia, reminiscing on his and Ezio's lives, as well as the farewell letter Ezio sent for him.


Ubisoft Special Award - Kuroneko Yawa x Ubisoft by Katsuho Imai

The mangaka Katsuho Imai is the primary character, and the story is set in modern-day Kyoto. He talks about how much he enjoys immersing himself in the world of video games.
