Toei Animation's Internal System Was Hacked, Causing Delays in Anime Release Dates

On March 6th, Toei Animation issued a statement indicating that their internal system had been hacked by a third party, leading the studio's system to be temporarily suspended. The studio also notifies that this incident has caused delays in their anime broadcast, beginning from March 20, although the extent of the delay was not confirmed.

In their statement, released on the official website, the company expressed their apology for the incident and identified the anime that now have disrupted broadcast schedules.

“Details are currently under investigation, but it has been revealed that it will affect the airing schedule of our TV animations ‘Dragon Quest Dai no Daibouken’, ‘Delicious Party ♡ Precure’, ‘Digimon Ghost Game’, and ‘ONE PIECE’.

We deeply apologize to all the long-awaited fans for their concern every week.”

Episode 73 of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai will not run on Saturday as planned, and will be replaced by episode 31. The anime's staff will unveil what will air on March 19 at a later date.

The Digimon Ghost Game Twitter account claimed that it will reveal what will air on March 20 at a later date.

The team will release more specifics about the show's schedule starting with the episode that will run on March 20 at a later date, according to the official website for the One Piece anime.

Delicious Party Precure's Twitter account said that episode 6 of the show has been postponed and will not run on March 13 as planned. Instead, Episode 4 will air on that day.
